Meet the Owls

Geohumus

Geohumus is a water storing granulate, based on super absorbent nanotechnology. This new hybrid material combines volcanic rock material with super absorbent qualities.

Traditional super absorbents are well known in the hygiene industry (e.g. baby nappies) where they have been used for over 30 years. They can store large quantities of water and are environmentally harmless and long lasting

What are the advantages of Geohumus?
- Reduction of irrigation costs
- Reduction of salinisation
- Reactivation of unfertile soil
- Improvement of water balance
- Realising of better vegetation conditions
- Prevention of erosion
- Decreasing of evaporation water

Roses 2009

Everything’s coming up roses!!

This years roses are really awesome. For the first time we purchased predominately from weeks roses as part of their bud and leaf program. The first shipment arrived with some buds already showing color, the plants are very nice with good cane
formation and excellent bud production.
By now we are into our second shipment with our final shipment due in a few days. This rose program has worked very well with top quality roses at a great price ready for the garden. We take the time to apply Merritt as a soil drench to the pots to
prevent that 1st aphid attack.
Have you seen them? There are some beautiful new ones.

This years new introductions include Cinco de Mayo a unique combination of smoky lavender and rusty red-orange petals, that blends very well with any color in the garden. This FLORIBUNDA ROSE has 25 petals to the flower and a moderate sweet apple scent.

"As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round."
Ben Hogan
